My new roommate brought a lot of dishes with her; unfortunately most of them were covered in grease. When I first picked this lid up I thought it was gold. Boy was I wrong… It all came off eventually. People here use A TON of oil when they cook and my roommate did not have an exhaust system in her old kitchen so instead of going up into the pipes, the oil went all over the kitchen. I volunteered to organize the kitchen and the living room while she organized her room and most of the grease has fortunately been scrubbed off now, although it take me hours to do it.
